Katoomba Slam Heat, NSW

The Katoomba heat of the Australian Poetry Slam was held in partnership with the Winter Magic Festival on 25th June. The event was hosted by Tug Dumbly, one of Australia’s greatest spoken-word artists.
The winner, Sandy Holmes and runner-up, Alasdair Carter are now through to the State Final! Congratulations!
Mayor, Clr Adam Searle, said, “Blue Mountains Libraries were delighted to be one of the regional areas to host a heat of the Australian Poetry Slam and thank the Winter Magic Festival committee for their enthusiastic support of the event.”
