NYC slam poets hop around the east coast!

The Global Poetics Tour features three New York City slam poets visiting Australia for the first time. Jive Poetic, Mahogany L Browne and Ken Arkind from New York’s Nuyorican Poets Café will appear at this year’s Melbourne Writers Festival (MWF), Brisbane Writer’s Festival (BWF), Overload Poetry Festival (OPF) and Alice Desert Festival (ADF). The 21-day tour will take in the East Coast capitals Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Sydney.

In Sydney we're getting them to run wordshops and a slam at Macquarie University. They'll also perform at the Word in Hand gig in Glebe. More stuff to be announced soon!
