You have one last chance of possibly becoming Australia's next SLAM Champion!
94.5 FBi Radio and their, 'Sunday Night at the Movies' have teamed up with the Australian Poetry Slam 2010 to bring you Slam Radio.
Here's how it will work:
Call 9698 5429, leave your contact details and a two-minute performance.
Then email FBi's Sunday Night at the Movies at snatm@fbiradio.com with the first line of your piece, 100 words about yourself, and a picture.
They’ll listen to the first 20 entries, eight finalists will be announced on FBi's Sunday Night at the Movies on November 21 at 9.15 pm. Don’t miss out!
Listeners become the judge when eight finalists battle it out on air on Sunday, November 28 at 9pm.
The slammer with the most votes will compete at the Australian Poetry Slam National Final on Sunday, December 5, at the Sydney Theatre Company.
They'll be in the running to win up to $11,000 in prizes, including a writers tour of Asia. As part of the tour, the National Slam Champion will attend the Bookworm International Writers Festival in Beijing, Chengdu and Suzhou and The Ubud Writers and Readers Festival in Bali.
The National Slam Champion 2010 and two runners up will also be interviewed on air post-competition.
