South Australian State Final

South Australia's best spoken word poets again got their chance to strut their stuff in front of a massive live audience on Friday 11th November at Higher Ground.

We were happy to also host Miles Merrill who kept everyone entertained once again - thanks Miles!

To recap our 12 finalists, they were:
Indigo and Royce from the SA Launch
Eileen Ting and Mira Pavlovic from Heat 1
Abraham and John Sabine from Heat 2
Kami and Felix from Heat 3
Peach and Isobel from Heat 4 and
Tracey Korsten and Nigel Ford from Heat 5

On the night our winner was Kami and runner up Indigo - CONGRATULATIONS, we know they'll do SA proud at the National Final in Sydney.

Thanks go to all staff at Higher Ground, Salisbury, Prospect, Mitcham, Woodcroft & West Torrens public libraries for hosting the 2011 heats.
