Multi-Lingual Stories: Multi-Lingual Story Sharing – Story Week 2025 (NSW)

  • Talk Shop – Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney (map)

Start: 7 pm
(local times)

Book your tickets here.

This activity is part of Multi-lingual Stories: A night of conversations and stories. Come for
the discussion, the story-sharing or catch both.

That feeling of being different because of skin tone and / or language, how do we own it? Celebrate it? Call it our superpower? Multi-Lingual Stories is a sharing circle where we celebrate languages other than English, share stories and poems about being new to a place and weave diverse perspectives into a vibrant evening mesh. The door is open. The multilingual mic is yours.

Poets, writers and you – the audience – are invited to listen and tell stories in your mother tongue about coming to a new land.

HOST: Dai Moret
FEATURING: Ashu Bhoir, Eva Fernandes, Sabika Abbas, Beni Yanthan (Yanbeni) and Hansda Sowvendra Shekhar

Content Warning: Most poetry events are all ages and some content may not be suitable for children. Performances may include strong language and / or adult themes.

Event times local time.
