REBECCA YOUNG

Rebecca Young is a multidisciplinary artist who made her debut into poetry in 2019. Rebecca is now a multi-time state finalist, and national finalist of the Australian Poetry Slam, and has performed her work across Tasmania, including events at MONA, Party in the Paddock, and the Tasmanian Poetry Festival. Her words aim to break down social stigmas around trauma, neurodiversity, and general existential dread, and highlight the importance of rediscovering whimsy and finding your voice and community in a world that often promotes silence, conformity, individualism, and profits.
