Tenille Evans is a writer of speculative fiction, poetry, and recipes. She is the author of Frivolous Gods – a science-fiction novel that explores connection, trauma, and the collective power of humanity in relation to the skills we all need to safely and kindly wield it. Her current work in progress is The Common – a post-apocalyptic novel about community and all the ways we choose to come together, despite it all. 

Tenille is passionate about food justice, and is the author of Lover, Come Home – a plant-based recipe book. Her day-job includes working as the Festival Director of the Seven Valleys Wild Food Festival. As a curator of public events, Tenille appreciates the power of gathering with purpose, the transformative nature of shared creative experiences and performance. 

She is the mother of three boys and lives on Wiradjuri Country in Lithgow, NSW.
