LAURITA GORMAN

Laurita Gorman is a Canadian-born poet, storyteller, and somatic therapist whose words crack open what the world teaches us to hide.  Based on the Sunshine Coast and winner of the Joe Lynch Memorial Cup at GOODFEST, Laurita writes from the body, bringing tenderness, truth, and humanity to the stage. Her spoken word invites audiences to feel deeply, think critically, and remember that staying soft in a hard world is what makes us human.
