LUNA ROSE

Luna Rose is a blind poet, performer, and advocate from Brisbane who writes about the things people often leave unsaid. Her work draws on personal experiences of disability, mental illness, family, grief, trauma, love, and finding her place in the world. Blending storytelling with spoken word, Luna's poems are honest, reflective, and sometimes darkly humorous, often transforming ordinary moments into something meaningful.

A regular at spoken word events across Brisbane, Luna has performed at venues throughout the city and was a Top 5 finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam in 2025. In 2026, she founded Snaps Poetry, a Brisbane spoken word event creating space for poets and audiences to come together, share their work, and connect through poetry. Her work is often described as raw, resilient, and deeply human. Whether on stage, online, or behind the microphone at Snaps, Luna aims to create poetry that sparks conversation, fosters connection, and reminds people that they are not alone.
