ROGER STAMFORD

Roger Stamford discovered his love of poetry at the age of nine while reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, captivated by the cheeky, irreverent poems scattered throughout the book. While living in Islington in the 1990s, he regularly attended performance poetry nights across North London, although always as a spectator. Now stepping onto the stage for his first poetry slam, Roger proudly represents the creative community of north-western Sydney.
