T2 ‘Verse of Tea’

Slam Poets Emilie Collyer, Eunice Andrada and Jesse Oliver at T2 Verse of Tea

Word Travels are excited to be collaborating with T2 this Harmony Week (15-21 March) and for World Poetry Day (Saturday 21 March) to celebrate difference to make a difference.

T2 has brought four poets together to highlight the issue of micro-ignorance through their powerful stories that aim to unite all with messages of kindness and tolerance.

Eunice Andrada: APS Youth Champion recounts experiences of cultural ignorance and racial slurs

Jesse Oliver: APS Champion, 2017 addresses his challenges as a transgender person

Emille Collyer: a Melbourne-based Creative Writer shares attitudes around ageism

Anisa Nandaula: APS Queensland Champion explores everyday experiences of racism.

We’re all encouraged to take time over a cup of tea to listen to others and discover the universal connections that hold us together.
