Australia needs all of its stories to inspire the world, not just those told by people in power.
Step from the herd. Listen and get HEARD! A poetry slam is a place for all voices.
Polish up your poetry, write your words, modify your meter and shine up your stanzas at this APS Poetry Workshop. John Englezos will guide you in writing words that electrify the imagination, re-shaping existing work into competition-ready pieces. Learn about poetry slams and how to use your voice and body to bring the house down on stage.
In addition to this All-ages workshop there’s also the Albury–Wodonga Youth APS Workshop taking place.
Want to try out your skills or watch local poets on the mic? Check out the Albury–Wodonga 2025 APS Heat.
