Kym is a 21st Century poet and writer who lives in Bunbury WA. In February 2025 she performed a slam poem which compared her brain to a bowl of porridge. Audiences reacted positively to this cry for help and in August of the same year she was on stage again. This time talking about her bowels. Kym attributes her success in the WA finals to an eclipse of Jupiter's fifth moon Amalthea.
