NADA HASSIN ALI

Nada Ali is 20 year old poet from northern Iraq. She writes about her experience as a young Yazidi women, and brings light to the injustice the Yazidi community continues to experience after the 2014 Genocide by ISIS. Nada Ali was a 2023 Australia Slam Poetry NSW finalist and the winner of the 2024 Bellingen Readers & Writers Festival poetry competition.
