TASHA MATTHEWS

Tasha Matthews is an emerging artist from lutruwita/Tasmania. She is a proud Ngarla & Nyamal First Nations woman with English and Swedish heritage.

Tasha has been seeking solace in the privacy of her poetry for over 10 years. She has performed with the Tin Camp Studios at Nayri Niara Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and MONA.

Tasha is an aspiring singer song writer who is currently studying a Diploma of Music at the University of Tasmania.

She lives in a rural coastal town with her beloved housemates and when she isn’t creating, she works in the world of Tasmanian whisky.
