ALICE BIRBARA

Alice Birbara is an actor, writer and performance poet living and working on Gadigal land (Sydney). Alice is a graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK, where she gained a Master of Arts in Professional Acting. She also holds a BA in English/History from the University of Sydney. Recent acting work includes the Logie award-nominated In Our Blood (ABC) and a tour-de-force performance in the solo show Chef (KXT Bakehouse & Virginia Plain Theatre).

Alice is passionate about creating work that amplifies the voices of women, the LGBTQIA+ community and victim-survivors of sexual violence. She is a strong advocate for victim-survivors of sexual violence and has been featured in a number of articles about her lived experience. Alice is currently developing a screenplay for television on this topic.
