ALMAZ YAGHI

Almaz Yaghi is a young author, poet and visual artist who values self expression and sharing her interpretation of this confusing world. Almaz placed at the Bankstown poetry grand slam at the Opera House and came first place at the July Bankstown Poetry Slam. Her novella titled “A Monster Ate My Dad” explores a young girl’s resilience in the face of her father's incarceration.
