“At 60 I came late to poetry as a way to process my thoughts and feelings during the COVID pandemic in Australia. I’ve continued periodically to write as and when inspiration hits. I find rhyming and sonnets an enjoyable challenge and prose poetry challenging because of my rhyming preference. I typically write about the things I see and do, and as a result, I describe myself, primarily, as a “situational poet!””
